In Bhagavad Gita, According To Krishna, How Should Individuals Approach Work?
Lord Krishna clearly states that one has to do his prescribed duties. For ex. if you are a computer specialist or a carpenter or anybody else, you have to do your duty. This is Kaliyuga and renunciation of work is not necessary. But if one surrenders all his actions to Krishna, he does not have to bear the fruit of his actions.
So basically whatever work you do, you just have to take Lord Krishna’s name and surrender your actions to him i.e you should not have any expectations of your actions. You should not feel that you have done very good work and hence you should be appreciated by your boss or something like this.
You should feel that because of your past actions and desire, you have received the body of a particular human who is destined to work on a particular field. But the most important thing is whatever work we do, we should remember Krishna always and surrender our actions good or bad to him. So that we may not bear the fruits of our actions.

you should approach work with an attitude of serenity and total peace.
Fixation with the results/outcomes of our efforts affect the performance. If mind is surrendered to the Lord, then the “I” factor from the actions is removed and we are able to become His effective instruments. An attitude of ‘Dil mein Ram Haath mein Kaam” should be cultivated.
A B Vajpayee has penned a poem that beautifully puts the desired approach to work.

Kya jeet mein kya haar mein
kinchit nahin bhaya bhit mein
kartavya path par jo mile
yeh bhi sahi voh bhi sahi
mangooga var daan nahin
