I am supposed to write a huge paper on the Bhagavad Gita. What are three concepts that I could trace the developement of throughout the text?

    You could go for,
    1) The concept of God
Brahman – The impersonal universal energy
Paramatma – The Supreme Soul sitting in the heart of every living entity.
Bhagavan – God as a personality, with a transcendental form.
    2) On the different Yogas (union with God) compare and contrast them. See what is ultimately suggested.
    Bhakti yoga union through devotion
    Karma yoga union through action
    Jnana yoga union through knowledge
Raja yoga union through mental control
    3) The debate between leading a householders life (in the secular world) or that of a monastic life (in seclusion from the world)

Not familiar with it, but I have read it.
The Bhagavad Gita is about destiny and living up to your role in life, even if it hurts.
It’s a chapter in a much longer story (as you probably already know) and it is about the conflict between Arjuna’s duty and his feelings.
So… the development of Arjuna’s attitude, I suppose, is one concept.

Yes it is the tale of the Vedes. The concept is that the creator is Brahma and that all have to level out themselves between Dharma and Kharma to understand the Atma which is the self. The Bhagavad Gita is the tree paths of salvation. The Bhagavad Gita is located in the Vedes epic the Mahabharata. muy bonita
