Dear Parag,
have tried to answer your questions below:
Q: how was this cosmic manifestation created and by whom?
In Bhagvadgeeta, the Great Lord has answered the questions as follows
Chapter 7 Verse 6: ” I am the source of the entire creation and into Me again it disappears”
Chapter 9 Verse 7: ” Arjuna, during the Final Dissolution all beings enter My Prakruti (the prime cause), and at the beginning of creation, I send them forth again.
Chapter 9 Verse *: “Wielding my nature I release, again and again
(visrujami punah punah) (according to their own karmas) all this multitude of beings subject to the influence of their own nature”
Chapter 10 Verse 32: ” Arjuna, I am the beginning and the middle and the end of all creations.
Chapter 10 Verse 42: : ” What will you gain knowing all this in detail, Arjuna, Suffice it to say that I stand holding this entire universe by a fraction of My Yogic Power”
Chapter 9 Verse 18: ” I am the supreme goal, sustainer, lord, witness, abode, refuge, well-wisher seeking no return, origina and end,resting-place,store house to which all beings return at the time of universal destruction, and the imperishable seed”
Chapter 14 Verse 4: ” Of all embodied beings that appear in all the species of various kinds, Arjuna, Prakruti or Nature is the conceiving Mother while I am the seed-giving Father”
Thus, throught the Bhargvadgeeta, GOD has very clearly stated that he is the creator, sustainer and destroyer , commonly worshipped as “Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesha”
